It is Women's World

Amma (Jayalalitha) in South (Tamilnadu)
Didi (Mamatha Banerjee) in East (West Bengal)
Behenji (Mayavathi) in North (Uttar Pradesh)
Aunty (Sheela Dixit) in the Capital (Delhi)
Madam (Sonia Gandhi) at Center
Nani (Prathiba Patil) on top (The President)
Meera Kumar controlling the Lok Sabha
Sushma Swaraj as opposition leader in the Lok Sabha

Still Government thinks that, women are not getting enough opportunities. For that, Andhra Pradesh Government increased the reservations for women in the local elections from 33% to 50%.

Only people of India can save India. Unfortunately, people of India think that only God can save India.

  1. I think that is a good thing, since at least women politicians won't be so dishonest as men :-D

  2. I don't vote based on the honesty or dishonesty of the person. I would vote based on what they can do for the division/constituency/state/country and what their opinion on bringing different kind of policies.
I would prefer to vote for the corrupted person who can do a lot for the state/country rather than very sincere person who cannot do that much for the state/country.
I am not sure how many women politicians can be sincere. Most of the time, their husbands or fathers (for unmarried politicians) would control everything. Even Hyderabad Mayor is not an exception.
