Severe Punishment to the Decision Makers of IRCTC and Indian Railways

I donated Rs.1000 to Lord Krishna to give severe punishment to the decision makers of IRCTC and Indian Railways.

What I would prefer is, all of them should go to hell very soon and get all the punishments mentioned in the Garuda Puranam. But, I would let Lord Krishna decide appropriate punishment for them.

My accounts are blocked by IRCTC.

When I raised the request, their reply was, I was hitting enormously and using auto-fill scripts.

I replied to them saying, in the last 9 months, I hardly used IRCTC accounts and no need to talk about hitting enormously or using auto-fill scripts.

Then, they replied saying, my account is used for commercial purposes.

I replied saying that I never booked even a single ticket in the last 9 months. When there is not even a single booking, what do they mean by using it for commercial purposes.

When I complained in RailMadAd, initially, they gave the same reason as the account was used for commercial purposes. After I refuted that, they gave the reason that my profile had junk values and I needed to submit my id card.

I know that my profile does not have any junk values. Still, I submitted my id card.

They closed the ticket saying, IRCTC is going to resolve it, and IRCTC did not resolve it.

Their explanation was like, they wanted to block my account and inventing reasons to block it rather than checking whether they blocked with a valid reason or not.

Even if I had done what they claimed that I did, if it was a private organization [without government support], they would have handled it a lot differently.

For the issue with hitting enormously, one can have a limit of the no.of requests for a duration, and once the user reaches that limit, they will not be able to make any requests till that duration.

IRCTC is the only organization in the whole world, which says, "Auto-Fill scripts" is a software and used for hacking.

When the organization does not want people to use it for commercial purposes, they limit the no.of bookings they make. IRCTC is already limiting the no.of bookings to 6/month. With 6 tickets per month, what commercial activities can one person do? Before Corona, I used to travel more than 10 times in a month, and when even 10 tickets were not enough for me, they put the limit of 6 tickets and even in that, they are saying, I am using it for commercial purposes.

If the profile has junk values, a typical private organization will force to fix the profile before proceeding. But, IRCTC just disables the account with no way to fix it.

I very rarely ask God to punish someone. Most of the time, I just leave them and wish Karma to take care of them. But, after a very long time, I am explicitly praying to God to punish someone.

I wish all the decision makers of IRCTC and Indian Railways are severely punished in hell very soon for harassing me. I prefer them to get all the punishments that are mentioned in Garuda Puranam. But, I let Lord Krishna decide what to do with them.

Singapore Lokpal Bill

In 1982, In Singapore, LOKPAL BILL was implemented and 142 Corrupt Ministers & Officers were arrested in one single day. Today Singapore has only 1% poor people & no taxes are paid by the people to the government, 92% Literacy Rate, Better Medical Facilities, Cheaper Prices, 90% Money is white & Only 1% Unemployment exists.

I have seen many people sharing the above message. But, this is a hoax. You can search in google for more information. My post is not about whether it is hoax or not.

Those whoever created the above message wanted to say, Since, Singapore has strong Lokpal Bill and it is highly developed, and if we bring it in India also, we also becomes highly developed.

In the exact same way, I would say, since the rich person infront of my house has a watchman, and he had become very rich, and If I also hire a watchman, I also become very rich.

For a person to become rich, or an organization to grow, they need to do something to create wealth, by doing business, developing something, or inventing something new etc. Once, they get enough wealth, they can hire security to protect the wealth. But, if the security becomes too serious, and in the name of protecting Rs.1 Lakh, if they stop a customer who can generate a profit of Rs.1 crore, then they will soon loose everything.

When India has so many restrictions in doing business in many sectors including education, transport, agriculture, electricity etc., without bringing reforms in those areas, if we are going to bring strong anti-corruption laws, it is like, hiring more security personnel without doing anything to create wealth.

According to Heritage Foundation and Transparency International, in 2010, seven of the wolrd's ten 'least corrupt' countries were ranked among the top ten in 'business freedom'. Singapore is one country which is in top 10 in both. The ten most corrupt countries on the average had a business freedom rank of 154. India's rank was 167.

Mistakes Vs Corruption of Officials

In the name of anti-corruption, many times, people and media are doing over enthusiastic things which would halt the development.

Few years back, when a new organization was formed, the government has taken 10% share in that organization. After some time, the organization decided to increase their base fund, and asked all the partners to invest more money. The directors (IAS officers) from the government felt that, there was no point in investing more money in that organization, and did not invest more government money. After few years, the organization started making huge profits. Now, the media started blaming the directors that, they are corrupted, and that's why, they did not try to maintain the share of the government. Had the directors maintained the government share and if the company had made losses, the same media again would have said, they are corrupted, and that's why, they invested more money in the organization which is making losses.

How many people in the world can actually predict the growth of an organization? If they can predict it correctly, they would be one of the richest people of the world. Everyone goes with some assumptions with whatever knowledge they have, and people cannot predict always. If the media or other so-called social workers start blaming the government officials for the things which are not in their control, then no official would try to take any decision, and the entire development would halt.

Corruption - Incentive Vs Bribe

You wanted a birth certificate and went to the concerned office. The officer said, if you give money, you would get it immediately. If you don't give money, you would get it after one month. Is this corruption?

Same scenario. Instead of one month, it takes two months. Is that corruption?

According to the rules of the government, there is a time limit for each application. For most of the applications, including RTI, the time limit is one month. If he is giving you what you wanted within the specified time, then that cannot be considered as corruption. If he is giving an option of getting it sooner, it should be considered as incentive to him.

Let's suppose, if the application has to be processed within a month and the concerned officer is taking two months, and is asking for money to give it sooner, then can we consider it as bribe? Let's suppose, if the office does not have enough staff to process all the applications, and because of that, if they are going to take two months, how can the concerned officer is responsible for the delay, when he does not have any control in recruiting staff.

If according to the government rules, and the staff that the office has, if they are going to do their best and process all the applications on time, then why should they be charged with corruption?

If the employee is going to work after the office hours and process few extra applications, and in turn take some money from the applicants, it cannot be called as bribe. It is just an incentive to the employee.

If you are an employee of any organization, and if somebody (other than your manager or anybody in the hierarchy) asks you to work (under the terms of the company) on a sunday and offers some incentive, would you say NO?

Bribe

Open Competition and Capitalism Increases Corruption

Whenever anyone talks about corruption, the first example that I give is, corruption in getting a telephone in 2000 and in 2003.

Till 2000, If anyone wanted a phone, they need to pay bribe and even then, they would get only after 2 months. By 2003, if anyone wants a phone, it would hardly take few minutes to get a phone. The corruption has gone away because of the competition between different Tele-communications companies. We need open competition and capitalism to reduce the corruption, and not by arresting the employees of BSNL who were taking bribes.

After this, many intellectuals raise the next question. The biggest scam in India happened in Tele-communications. That open competition has given an ugly face and the corruption has increased to unimaginable level.

Let's suppose, if there had been no competition, and there is only BSNL controlled by the government, like it was till 1996. What would have happened? The entire spectrum would have been taken over by the BSNL. How much money would country have got out of it? Absolute zero.

For obvious reasons, if there is no money, then one cannot do corruption in that.

All the communists want to reduce the corruption to zero, which is possible, only if, the income is zero.

All the capitalists are fine with the loss of money because of corruption, as long as we get something out of it.

One Question to the Supporters of Anti Corruption and Anna Hazare

How many people have submitted all the original documents in the income tax declarations with true claims including but not limited to house rent, medical bills, travel bills etc.?

Whatever the reasons that people have, to submit fake documents, for the same reasons, the corrupted people are doing corruption.
