Conversation Between Two Babies in the Womb

In a mother's womb, there were two babies.

One asked the other: "Do you believe in the life after delivery?"

The other replies, "Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later."

"Nonsense," says the other. "There is no life after delivery. What would that life be?"

"I don't know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths."

The other says, "This is absurd! Walking is impossible. And eat with our mouths? Ridiculous. The umbilical cord supplies nutrition. Life after delivery is to be excluded. The umbilical cord is too short."

"I think there is something and maybe it's different than it is here."

"No one has ever come back from there. Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery it is nothing but darkness and anxiety and it takes us nowhere."

"Well, I don't know, but certainly we will see mother and she will take care of us."

"Mother?? You believe in mother? Where is she now?"

"She is all around us. It is in her that we live. Without her there would not be this world."

"I don't see her, so it's only logical that she doesn't exist."

To which the other replied, "sometimes when you're in silence you can hear her, you can perceive her. I believe there is a reality after delivery and we are here to prepare ourselves for that reality."

Online Voting in the Elections

Many technical people want to vote in the elections online, so that, they don't need to go to their home town to vote, and they can save some time (Eventhough, it is three times in five years).

If online voting is introduced, then the election would boil down to a public auction of the constituencies.

If online voting is introduced, then all the voters would register for online. If anybody is not interested, then they would be given incentives to register for online voting. On the election day, all the candidates would offer money to the voters, if (and only if) they are going to vote for them infront of them. Since, whoever is going to pay is guaranteed to get the vote, it becomes like an auction of the vote. Finally, whoever buys maximum no.of votes will win in the election.

I am not surprised that the most developed countries in the world are not using EVMs and are still having paper based voting.

No Good Candidates in Elections - No Good Movies to Watch

If the three candidates from the top three political parties are bad, then let us declare that, there are no good candidates in the elections to vote.

If the six movies from the sons of the yesteryear heroes are not good, then let us declare that, there are no good movies to watch.

Let us close our eyes, and declare that, there is no light in the world.

Watched Kalavaramaye Madhilo, a nice movie.

Dynasty rule in Congress Party

Many people criticize Congress Party for it's dynasty rule, saying it is a private property of Nehru-Gandhi family.

But, Non-Congress Members do not have any right to criticize the structure or dynasty rule in Congress Party. It is their internal matter, and Congress Members should worry about it, and not outsiders.

Nehru-Gandhi family is controlling like it is their private property. It is because, the members of the party have given complete rights to them to control it as a private property. That's why, they are controlling like that. Even while selecting a Chief Minister, all the MLAs take resolution that, they are giving the full power to the high command to select the Chief Minister. If we consider Democracy as respecting majority people's opinion, in Congress, majority people's opinions are respected. Nobody nominates against Sonia Gandhi for Congress President's post. It means, democratically, she became the president of Congress. If people say, nobody nominates out of fear, that is meaningless. To become a president, they need to have 50% of the supporters (assuming there are only two contestants). When they have half of the supporters, there is no need to fear.

However there are many things behind this.

Let's suppose, if a person is supported by 90% of the people, then many people would not prefer to fight against that person. From the career's perspective, if somebody is going to surely win, then it would be better to support that person to get some advantage. In this case, it was clear for everyone that, Sonia Gandhi would win anyway. Everybody wants to have proper relationship with her, and do not even bother to file nominations against her.

Another thing is, if there are significant no.of members against Nehru-Gandhi family, cannot they expel that family from the party?

Couple of years after Indira Gandhi became Prime Minister, the party got split into two. The other party disappeared later on. In 1977, after the lose in the elections, then president of Congress Party Kasu Brahmananda Reddy expelled Indira Gandhi. Then, she started her own party Congress (I). Later on the original Indian National Congress party has disappeared, and Congress (I) is renamed to Indian National Congress.

Even if the present congress members are successful in expelling Sonia and Rahul Gandhi from the party, they will start their own party and the original party would disappear, and their party only will survive.

The reason behind all this is, people are voting for Nehru-Gandhi family, and not to Congress Party. That's why, it became private property of that family. If you don't want Nehru-Gandhi family ruling the country, tell the people not to vote for them. Anything else is of no use.

Political Parties under RTI

I cannot understand, why do we need to bring political parties under RTI. Most of the political parties run with black money, and the white money that they have is an insignificant part. If we bring RTI, obviously, it would be applicable to only white money and not to black money. What can one do with the details of insignificant white money?

Last month, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) conducted an annual meeting and in that they announced that, for the last financial year, their income was little less than Rs.3 crore. Everyone knows that, their annual meeting itself cannot be conducted with Rs.3 crore. If anyone is interested in exposing them or take legal actions, this alone is enough. No need of RTI and the minute details of the income.

But, by bringing RTI in political parties, the honest political parties may suffer. If the donor details of the honest political parties are revealed, then the other political parties would go to those donors and demand more money. It would lead to the reduction of donations to the honest political parties.

If RTI is allowed for black money, then it would be of some use, and I would like to know the following by that.

If I want to contest in the elections (for MLA, MP or Chair-person), how much donation do I need to give to the party, and how much I have to pay to different leaders? And also, what are the rates for different constituencies?

How much did party pay the voters in different areas of the state? [It would be useful, to select the cheapest constituency.]

If I am not interested in direct elections, but, want to become an MLC or Rajyasabha MP, how much do I have to pay?

If I want to become a chairman of any government or government controlled organization, how much do I have to pay?

If I get this information, then it would be useful for me, so that I can plan how much money I have to earn to get a post. With the present scenario, if I file RTI, they would say, for my assembly constituency, they had spent Rs.10 Lakh for the election campaign. For obvious reasons, it is of no use for anybody.

Banning Hospitals Who Cannot Treat Well

Few days back, in Hyderabad, a person got chest pain and went to a hospital. The duty doctor could not diagnose it properly, and in two hours that person died. Now, I see requests from few people to ban the hospital.

There is a lot of difference among the doctors in their capabilities, experience and time needed to save a person. One cannot expect that, every doctor in the world should be able to save a person who is going to die in two hours. If that is the case, then we can close more than 90% of the hospitals.

If one is injured in a fatal accident, they won't go to an RMP doctor for the treatment. In the same way, if the disease is major, then they should go to only the best hospital. There is no point in going to a not so great hospital and then blaming that hospital.
