Interesting fact, thanks. Amused to see Hyd not far from the next district, though it is touted as the IT/bio hub
ReplyDeleteGachibowli, Hitech city and many other rich areas are in Rangareddy district.
ReplyDeleteLingampally is in Medak district.
Mahaboobnagar district is next to Shamshabad airport.
So, to find the real revenue from IT in Greater Hyderabad, we need to combine the revenue of IT in three districts (Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medak).
Half of the population of Visakhapatnam District is in deep backward agency area. But the per capita income and GDP is similar to the Hyderabad (100 % urban) and more than Rangareddy (50% of poulation comes under Hyd Metro. The per capita income of Vizag is twice than Hyderabad city.
DeleteI cannnot believe per-capita incomes. A few big rich men can tilt it upwards. When you see Kadapa, it does not look rich at all, though it is in the top. Median or poverty numbers are good instead.
ReplyDeletethe fact revealed that development of hyderabad is common ,it is not due the people of andhra only.it is also fact that it is not the dev of all the people i.e 90%.
ReplyDeletemadanmohan
A clear indication to the fact that Uttarandhra is the most backward region in the state viz vizianagaram and srikakulam districts. Only Vizag is a ray of hope. If Telangana is broken Uttarandhra should be provided with special package.
ReplyDeletelook at these..! these figures clearly shows the income of the Telangana region. How badly is it..
ReplyDeleteGDP of semaandhra region is 1,88,975 where as,
GDP of Telangana region is 1,37,621 of which, Greater Hyderabad share(say 35% to 45%) is the dominant part of total GDP of Telangana.
which directly implies that rest of the Telangana is how backward. If they take away hyd from us what will be the future of Telangana...?????
This also shows the negligence of semaandhra leaders over Telangana people. This is why we need separate Telangana state.
Jai Telangana! Jai Jai Telangana!! Jai Jai Jai Telangana!!!
